“I prefer to be a dreamer among the humblest, with visions to be realized, than lord among those without dreams and desires.” -Kahlil Gibran
My life has been a very unconventional one. Not unconventional in the genial way brought about through daring to be different and pushing the envelope, but rather unconventional in the depressive way that is necessitated by congenital illness.
Even so, through the continued immersion in unconventionality I have learned to embrace it and to march to the drum beat of my own heart. That is why, as an aspiring writer, I enjoy creating works of fiction that challenge the thought process present in the status quo mentality of the multitudes. Psychological probings and what I hope to be insightful moral and ethical issues that challenge preconceived notions is the masterpiece theme I oft set out to achieve.
It is my hope that through my reflective introspection that manifests itself both fictionally and non-fictionally on this site that your own thoughts are deepened and your own reflections swayed into greater clarity. Dare to dream, and remember to “advance and never halt, for advancing is perfection. Advance and do not fear the thorns in the path, for they draw only corrupt blood” (Kahlil Gibran).
